WHAT WOULD HOPE SAY? / America & Service

Love your country. Expect more of it.

Patriotism comes with responsibilities. Showing up is one of them.

Love of country should ask something of us. Show up for your community. Take your responsibilities seriously. Treat service as something you do, not something you announce.

I am unapologetically American in my outlook. Freedom, duty, and loyalty matter to me. So does the courage to say when we are falling short.

You can be proud of your country and demand better from its leaders. Loving something is a reason to care about what happens to it.

Wave the flag. Then do something worthy of it.
